Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. The most recognizable role she has played is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of the presidential and 2012 elections. She also spent time at Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan, as member of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress discussions, such as negotiations for raising the limit on federal loans and Super Committee discussions. As general assignment reporters she's covered events including those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. She provided feature stories and breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. Prior to that, she was with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Now she lives living in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandchildren.
