Niykee's personal highlights include being hand-picked to join Snoop on the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, as well as writing songs, despite the turbulence over the last few years. While she develops her skills as a lyricist, Niykee explains that the pain of her past serves as an endless source of unlikely sources of inspiration. The hurt I experienced growing as a child as well as that of losing my sibling are still reflected in my songs, even if they're not literal. The resulting music is shaped by my experiences and gives it a deeper sense of meaning that I believe is extremely important. I'd like to be able listen to my music 20 years from now and be proud of the things I've written.
