Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook author who has received Emmy Awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 years. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. Though she found the career intellectually stimulating initially eventually she lost her interest in it and decided to purchase a smaller speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make her shop hugely successful, and then closed it. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. After that, several cookbooks were published, and she also wrote magazine columns. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too was launched and quickly became a hit. In addition, she offers products ranging from food ingredients to storage containers and equipment. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at a culinary school or in a hotel. Ina is well-known as an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style.
