Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous prizes. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. At first she began as an assistant to photographers. Then, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. Her first two movies were noticed and she received the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater.
